Beta Systems to Present Identity Access Governance and Access Risk Management Solutions at Gartner IAM Summit 2013 in London

NEWSFLASH

Berlin, Germany. 28 February 2013 – Beta Systems Software AG announced today that it will be presenting its Identity Access Governance (IAG) solutions at the Gartner Identity and Access Management Summit, which takes place on 11 and 12 March 2013 in London. This year, Beta Systems is a Platinum Sponsor of the event. Along with its IAG solutions, the company will be highlighting risk management for access permissions on stand PL9.

Identity and Access Governance includes the management and monitoring of IT security as it relates to identities, such as dealing with the orphaned accounts of people who left the company or department some time ago, and of access permissions. IAG ensures that people have minimal or appropriate permissions, but no permissions that go beyond what they need in their everyday work. Beta Systems’ risk management for access permissions comprises the detection, elimination and prevention of security-related risks throughout all phases of risk management.

Beta Systems will be holding a workshop - Access Intelligence – Gain Control over your Risks – in  which delegates can learn about the value that risk management delivers to a company’s top management, IT and security department as well as to its auditors or financial controllers.

The Beta Systems workshop takes place at the Gartner IAM Summit as follows:

  • Speaker: Niels von der Hude, Director Market Development, Beta Systems Software AG

  • Date: Tuesday, 12 March 2013, 12:30 – 13:00

  • Place: Room Westminster C, Level -3
